We are a friendly group, meeting on the 4th Friday evening of each month. Each member of the Group takes a turn to host an event so the size of people’s houses dictates a maximum number.
The choice and style of the evening is the host’s choice. We usually taste three reds and three whites, occasionally fizz and try to keep the cost to £5 per head. Once a year we splash out and, weather permitting, have lunch as well as wine in a member’s garden!
We like to think we have learned something about wines over the years, I’m sure we have, but occasionally a ‘blind tasting evening’ finds us out!
